Questions
buyers ask

Registration, bidding, title paperwork, delivery and the guarantee — in plain language, before you commit to anything.

Before you bid

No. A buyer account is free, and browsing the catalogue doesn't need one at all. You only register when you want to bid or use Buy Now.
Because ownership and transfer documents are prepared in your name. Verifying once, up front, means the paperwork is ready the moment you win instead of holding up delivery for days. Your documents are handled under applicable data-protection law and are never sold or shared, except where the law requires it.
Everything is completed online and we don't run a public showroom. In place of a walk-around, every lot carries a full inspection: photographs, odometer reading, VIN, and each fault written down rather than glossed over. If something isn't in the report, it isn't excluded from the guarantee.
We are a licensed dealer with a registered business address, published on the contact page. Independent reviews are available online, and the office answers the phone during business hours.

During the auction

Lots cross the block one at a time, roughly five minutes each. The current price, the next increment and the clock are visible to everyone watching. Bid as many times as you like until the clock stops.
No. The board shows the current price and how many bids have been placed, so everyone can see where a lot stands — but bidder names are never shown publicly.
No. A confirmed bid is binding, which is why the lot page shows the inspection report, the VIN and the odometer before you commit. Decide your limit before the lane opens.
A bid placed inside the final thirty seconds extends the lot by a minute. Nobody wins a car here by sniping the clock — you always get the chance to answer.
Some lots carry a fixed price. Taking it ends the auction on that lot immediately and the vehicle is yours, whether the lane is running or the lot is still waiting to open.

After you win

Everyone watching is notified of the outcome, and the vehicle appears in your account. A named agent then calls you to settle the purchase and arrange delivery — nothing is due on the site itself.
Ownership and transfer documents are prepared and notarised in-house once the purchase is settled. The vehicle is released with the required documentation and its keys.
Typically 3 to 10 business days after the purchase is settled, delivered to your address anywhere in the country. Your agent confirms the window when they call.
You have five days from delivery to inspect it, backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 6-month / 10,000-mile limited warranty. Faults already listed in the inspection report are excluded — publishing them up front is exactly what makes the rest of the guarantee meaningful.
A hammered lot is a binding sale, but the money-back guarantee gives you a proper way out if the vehicle does not match its report. Speak to your agent first — most issues are settled faster that way.

It took me a while to find the right car, but once I did, everything was smooth sailing. Choosing the vehicle, getting financing, and setting up pickup were all simple and stress-free.
Ethan Smith Texas
Overall, the buying experience was good. My only issue was that the truck was listed as a 4x4, but it turned out to be a 4x2. They said the price was still correct, but that’s definitely something that should’ve been listed accurately. Other than that, everything went well.
Olivia Johnson California
Buying my car from Auction Center was simple, painless, and actually kind of fun. They had a great selection, and I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process. The car arrived right on schedule, and even my neighbors were impressed. I’d recommend Auction Center to anyone who wants to skip the usual dealership hassle.
Noah Williams Florida
Buying through Auction Center was super easy. We found the vehicle we wanted, checked out the pictures and specs online, and decided to go for it. The car was delivered to our house on the exact date promised. The only minor issues were some dust inside and low pressure in the front-left tire. Besides that, it was a great experience.
Sophia Brown New York
The delivery process was pretty frustrating. A few days before the original delivery date, I was told the car would be delayed another week. After waiting that extra week, Auction Center called the morning of delivery and said the car wouldn’t start, so it was pushed back another five days. After two delays, the car finally arrived, but the inside was dirty. I opened a ticket during the seven-day return period and sent them pictures. To their credit, they responded quickly and gave me a $150 credit for a full interior detail. That definitely saved the day.
Liam Davis Ohio
The whole process was simple, and the results were great. It was way better than sitting at a dealership listening to all the usual nonsense and hearing, “Let me check with my manager” over and over. We ordered online but could still talk to someone by phone whenever we had questions. The car arrived on time and looked exactly like the listing. They handled the vehicle, financing, delivery, and even followed up with us afterward. I’d definitely use them again.
Emma Miller Illinois
The process was smooth and straightforward. No haggling, and the prices were pretty reasonable. Buying a car entirely online was new to me, but it definitely won’t be my last time. My only problem was that the previous owner had clearly been a smoker, and the smell was rough. I had to get the car fully detailed and the carpets shampooed before I felt comfortable driving it.
Benjamin Wilson Pennsylvania
Auction Center is basically the Starbucks of car buying. The people are friendly, the vibe is great, and i love my new ride.
Ava Moore Georgia
I waited three weeks for my vehicle and dealt with three separate delays. I like the car, but one of the fog lights was already out when it arrived. After waiting that long, I feel like something that obvious should’ve been fixed beforehand. Other than that, the experience was good.
Lucas Taylor North Carolina
The purchasing process itself was smooth and drama-free, but the prep work on my 2020 Toyota 4Runner was disappointing. It arrived with a flat tire and Colorado mud still caked underneath the vehicle. The car itself is good, but they really dropped the ball on getting it ready for delivery.
Mia Anderson Michigan
I’m sure the staff is nice, but my new car only came with half a tank of gas. The taxes also ended up being $150 higher than what was shown online. You definitely pay extra for the convenience of avoiding a salesperson, but honestly, I’m not sure that convenience is worth the added cost.
Henry Thomas Arizona
Everything was pretty easy and hassle-free. The delivery driver was great. It was pouring rain, but he never complained while unloading the car and handling the paperwork. He stayed professional the whole time.
