How to bid

The whole thing, start to finish. No showroom, no haggling, and no step that only makes sense once you've already paid.

    Open a buyer account

    Free, and it takes a minute. You can browse and use Buy Now straight away.

  2. 02

    Verify your ID once

    Upload a government-issued ID. We check it once so the ownership and transfer paperwork is ready the moment you win — usually cleared the same day.

  3. 03

    Read the lot properly

    Every lot carries photos, odometer, VIN and a full inspection with each fault written down. Read the report before you decide a number.

  4. 04

    Set your limit before the lane opens

    Decide the most you will pay while you are calm. Lots run five minutes each and the room moves quickly.

  5. 05

    Bid live, or take it at Buy Now

    When the lot crosses the block the price and the clock are visible to everyone. Bid in increments, or take the car off the block at the fixed price and end it there.

  6. 06

    Watch the last thirty seconds

    A bid inside the final thirty seconds extends the lot by a minute. Nobody wins by sniping here — you always get a chance to answer.

  7. 07

    Win the lot

    Highest bid when the clock stops takes it. You get an on-screen confirmation and an email, and the lot appears in your account.

  8. 08

    Your agent takes it from there

    A named agent calls to settle the purchase and arrange delivery. Title work is done in-house before the vehicle is released.

  9. 09

    Take delivery

    Typically 3 to 10 business days, to your door, anywhere in the country. Then the 5-day inspection window starts.

After waiting that extra week, Auction Center called the morning of delivery and said the car wouldn’t start, so it was pushed back another five days. After two delays, the car finally arrived, but the inside was dirty. I opened a ticket during the seven-day return period and sent them pictures. To their credit, they responded quickly and gave me a $150 credit for a full interior detail. That definitely saved the day.
