From today every lot we run crosses the block online. Same cars, same lenders, same auctioneer — but you no longer have to be standing in the lane to bid on them.
After a long run of in-person sales, we're making it official: every lot we run now crosses the block online.
You no longer have to drive to the lane, take a day off, or trust a phone bid to somebody else. The catalogue, the condition reports, the bidding and the paperwork all live in one place, and they're open to you from wherever you are.
Why we made the move
The honest answer is that our buyers were already there. For the last few sales, more of the action came from people bidding remotely than from the crowd on the floor — and remote buyers were getting the worse deal. They saw fewer photos, got less information, and had to make a call in seconds on a car they'd never really looked at.
That didn't sit right with us. If most of the room is online, the online room should be the good seat.
What's different now
- The full catalogue goes up before the sale. Photos, VIN, odometer, and the vehicle history report — all on the lot page, days ahead of time, so you can do your homework instead of guessing.
- Live lot-by-lot bidding. Lots run one at a time, in order, exactly as they would on the floor. You see the current bid, the next increment and the clock, and the anti-snipe timer keeps a last-second bid from stealing a car.
- Buy Now on selected lots. If you don't want to wait for the round, some vehicles carry a fixed price you can take straight away.
- One agent, start to finish. Every buyer gets a named person who handles the invoice, the title work and the transport booking. You're not chasing a switchboard.
What hasn't changed
The cars come from the same regulated lenders and fleet accounts they always have. Titles are still handled in-house before a vehicle is released. Reserves are still disclosed, and the hammer price is still the hammer price — no surprise fees bolted on after the fact.
We're also keeping the standard we've always held ourselves to on condition: if something is wrong with a car, it goes in the report. A clean sale is worth more to us than a quick one.
Getting started
Registration takes a few minutes. You'll create an account, upload an ID for verification, and once you're approved you can bid on any live lot. Browsing the catalogue and using Buy Now don't wait on approval — you can start looking today.
Thank you to everyone who stood in our lanes over the years. The floor was good to us. But the doors are open a lot wider now, and we think you'll like the view from here.
